Subject: Sorry

As Mikes editor I must appologise for the mess up of this page during today. I think that it is now returned to normality, but at least I now know that operating a computer after drinking beer is a bad idea. Frank

Onya, Mike. I'm still reading from down here in the Land of Oz.

It seems that your knee's sorted and you're making good progress.

I am impressed with the results of your 'considerate motorists' survey. It's great to know that most drivers seem to treat cyclists with respectful safety clearances.

Hi Mike

Blog is awesome, hughly descriptive which is great! I know the west of scotland area very well being as I was brought up there, to read your blog really 'takes me home!'

On your final day, I think we are only a few miles from you (camping) if you are travelling down the A30 in the vicinity of Hayle? If so maybe we could meet for brew or a little light libation?

Keep pedalling Mike, doing a grand job
All the best

Subject: Respect!

Awright Mike,
I've said it before but it has to be said again. Huge respect mate! Just to sample a little bit of what you must be feeling I decided to cycle to work every day this week. Only half the mileage, per day, you are doing. Last night I felt like I had been put through a mangle (remember them). I felt much better today, though. It's quite strange how one day you are absolutely knackered then the next you feel fine, just as you have been saying. You must be going through some tough times, especially with being on your own, keep going mate.
Sorry I can't meet up on Saturday to do a stage as I am off to see my daughter in London. Good timing on my part eh? Remember when you pass Ewood, to tip your cycle helmet.
